It’s Okay

It’s okay to drift away but

don’t drift away to the point

where you cannot see the shoreline

but I have lost myself

for being there for

Hear it from me,

As I am the product of the distorted history,

It is through writing I seek justice,

It is through writing that I seek sovereignty,

I await for you to witness my accounts,

I await for you to judge fairly my tormented history.
